Dr. Jeff Johnson, DMD

Dr. Jeff Johnson, a Spartanburg native, is a graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. Degree in microbiology. He earned his DMD degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Before coming to Greenville, he completed advanced training in surgery and prosthetics in a hospital residency at the University of Virginia. He is a member of multiple local and national organizations including the Greenville County Dental Society, Piedmont District Dental Society, South Carolina Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Johnson pursues continuing education to provide high quality care in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He enjoys working with people of all ages to promote good dental health.

Fun Facts About Jeff

  • His first job was picking up trash after Clemson home games at age 13… perhaps this is why he is now Clemson’s biggest fan (ask to see his office)
  • He lives in Greenville with his wife of 31 years. They have four children Jake(26), Twins are (21) and Sam is (17)
  • The only time he has gotten off a ski slope before it closed was when he required surgery.
  • Makes homemade strawberry jam with his grandmother’s recipe
  • A bucket list item is to go storm chasing in Oklahoma.
  • Played the violin for 8 years in school and, as luck would have it, he quit that year, (not knowing) the orchestra would be traveling to Europe… without him!
  • His whole family has been vegan for 13 years, some of them for health reasons, some for the environment, and the rest for the animals..
  • He is a self-proclaimed beer connoisseur, and when he can’t find one good enough, he brews his own beer at home.
  • Saw his favorite band, U2, perform in Dublin, Ireland and has seen every tour since 1986 multiple times.
  • While his wife talked him out of a miniature pig, his family includes 3 dogs, 2 guinea pigs, jellyfish, a hedgehog, and a bearded dragon.
